Hi Folks

My friend/s friend has had broadband fitted and has given him the extra bits wires etc for him to use/tap into the hub as it says in the handbook *page 11*

The Cd gets so far and then comes up with this error message

WG111V2 (poss bluetooth connection) something to do with a Driver?

Is this to do with the hardwear ? The computer is USB 1 but the internet connection is connected via an extra USB2 6 Hub device.......

Any help please! Thanks! :slayer:

Probably connected Via one of them Wall Filters, then wireless or USB or Ethernet.

Eitherway I think the Drivers are just to configure the Modem/Router

If you can log in via one obsure IP adderss e.g 192.168.2.1 then you should be able to enter all the username and password information manually.

However if you have a Modem which "Dial's up" then you should be able to just enter the details manually using the Internet Connection Wizard in WIndows.

If you really want to use the CD make sure any temp files the CD might have installed have been removed (C:\Program Files\BT something or other) Restart your computer and make sure you terminate any background applications then try installing again.

Option 1: You may have to have the modem removed from the computer during installaion.

Option 2: You may need the modem plugged into the computer during installation.
