Satellite Blue Edition Tablet STC64 wifi 4G PRO

I have a Satellite Blue Edition Tablet STC64 wifi 4G PRO.
but no matter what sim i put in it it only says 3g and i can not work out what the hell is wrong. spoke to tech support for three when i tried one of their sims did what he said but that didn't work.
Need help

Really silly question but do you have 4G switched off in the settings, I know on my iPad you can turn off “LTE” which is 4G

Also have you checked that the type of 4G the tablet supports is the same 4G that we have in the UK, ie if it’s made for an American or Chinese market it the 4G might be on a different bandwidth ?

The first one is wht i checked with tech suport guy i think.

Its probably the 2nd one i bought it off a dodgy bloke who said they were left over from a giveaway at a convention of some sort, i though it was plausible at the time because i got a free laptop from autotrader for turning up at an event with people from over forums and owners clubs to give them feed back on their website. It was me that gave them the idea to use real owners reviews on their site and no press ones.
