Just had brand new main board fitted due to PSU socket being damaged on old one.

Still got about 7 months or so all risk insurance (accidental damage, theft) and warranty left.

Will be formatted once all my work backed up with XP home installed (full license supplied to buyer), office 2003 (better than XP, including visio, one note, project, word etc.) and any other bits I have for it. NB: no license provided for office, you will need that or remove it Full and licensed brand new copy of Works supplied I expect though.

Laptop case

Bad points:

Don't think battery holds charge any longer (new one 80 euros from austria/germany on ebay)
Paint is worn badly on palm rest, of course no way affects the use of this powerhouse machine. Shown in pictures...

Price £400.

This laptop runs as new, screen is stunning, brand new mainboard (so is brand new except the casing which shows wear on palm rest but nowhere else).

Forgot to mention, Gericom is one of the largest european manufacturers of laptops, this laptop was specifically supplied to the Suzuki motoGP team last season as their laptop for use in the pits. It's very powerful. It was purchased due to immense reviews in all the media from Aldi last year for £999 and was worth well above that at the time.

Got me a new one remember Need to pay for that one with the sale of my old one which was at Gericom for new mainboard not returned. I do love both of them very much but this replaces that.

no bit in classifieds for laptops I did go to do it there, plus I didn't expect to have more than 2 mins online.

I'm surprised at how badly worn that is.

I Use to work in an I.T. Lab. One night in our 24h lab, a security guard caught someone looking at porn. The caught guy was so shocked at being caught, that he lost control.

We had to get the keyboard, mouse and screen cleaned :yuck:

We had to later get gid of the keyboard, because the key kept on getting stuck :yuck:

No con, you know me Dave, I bought it I think as a model called "smart power" but to the Europeans they call it the hummer

I suppose I could sort out the new battery and include it in the price, my sister has the same laptop and just purchased one so could go through the same person.

Make sure they are aware of the paint condition - I will upload more pictures when I have the oppotunity, i thought or hoped Gericom would give me a new case but a mainboard I guess is a big enough thing to change as it is!

As standard it came with some very good and powerful video editing software (Pinnacle) which using the firewire socket made a few decent videos from, the USB 2 TV tuner also allows you to input any source you could possibly want and record that too.

Plus, as a modern and quick laptop, it plays games damn well!
