Hi. I am running XP with Outlook Express. Yesterday I got a message saying that OE Express had not shut down properly last time and was not showing the last message etc. Then a message started flashing, so i closed OE down. When I re-opened it the emails in that particular in box had gone. I have not altered "views" which still says "show all".
I have tried to follow the various bits of advice on-line, but it's a bit beyond me.
I reckon I have found the .dbx file that I need, but how to get it back in to Outlook Express? Thanks in advance if you can give me a clue

To me it sounds like your mailbox data is corrupt. This can happen due to a faulty hard disk.
