Hello
I was thinking of giving one of the linux based operating systems a go as I have never used one before. I have two old 80gb hard drives so was thinking installing one on each to give them a test run. The two I was thinking of trying out were Ubuntu and Linux Mint. Or does anyone have any better suggestions?
Do i just put their files on a memory stick, boot into that, select the hard drive i want to install it on then follow through the installation process? Then when i start up my pc, just press F8 or whatever and choose which device to boot from to select the operating system I wanted to run?
Also i dont really get the difference between Ubuntu LTS and regular?
Thank you
