I need to get a new charger for my laptop as the cable on the original must have a break in it somewhere as it keeps stopping charging. The original is a 19v 3.42A with a 4.5mm outer / 2.5mm inner, connector plug with no yellow tip.
The reason I am asking for help is because on 1 site I saw a charger that said it would suit my laptop and not suitable for replacing chargers with a yellow tip. But on another site, I entered the exact laptop model number and the charger it suggested clearly had a yellow tip on it.
What does the yellow tip signify? Any help appreciated!
