Hey guys.. my tv is on my wall, and my wii, pc, and xbox 360 are all connected up to it. the xbox currently using a 5m Scart cable.
i used to hve it conected via hd when the xbox was next to the t.v
but is there a way to connect the 360 to the t.v via hdmi at a 5metre distance? i cant find the cable needed

I bought a 10meter from ebay ages ago, but then later sold it to a mate and he uses it for a ps3 and says it works fine.

but the 360 doesnt have a proper hdmi plug at the end.. just the 3 coloured wires which go in to the t.v h.d input

ah right you've confused everyone because later 360s do have a proper hdmi port. You don't need an hdmi cable then, perhaps you could use a xbox 360 vga lead (and extension cable) if your tv has vga input?

my tv dusn't have vga no

only scart, 2x hdmi, and the holes ( dunno what there called, theres yellow red and white for scart, and green blue and red for hdmi.)

You could always just get the proper HD Component set Amazon.co.uk: Xbox 360 Component HD AV Cable (Xbox 360): PC & Video Games and if it's too short just get phono extensions from Maplin, pretty sure they are cheap as chips and it's all the same stuff

Edit: I assume you have sufficient length on the audio plug as those 3 leads only do the video, if not you can get a 2 cable phone extension on Maplin as well
