Making a website for my mother, pretty much finnished it but i just hosted it with Geocities to show her it online.

seems slow and i have no idea about prices etc. or what to even look for in a web host.

any suggestions?

cool, i'm already getting the .com from them, thought it was Bens company.

£10 a month seems a bit much for what im doing, anyone find anything cheaper?

cool, hosting seems good but i dont need loads for what im wanting but like i say i dont know what hosting costs havent looked into it, still doing the site

What's the website for? Do you get any free webspace from your ISP? I get something like 50mb from Virgin.

50 mb would easy do it, only a few JPGs and the index is only 200k. im with talktalk so i can check.

tried geocities and a decent looking free host, uploaded the index.htm and HTML and images folder exactly the same as they are on my pc, the index file wont load on either hosts, shows up page wont display, any ideas?
