Your current breakout on to the internet back bone is that far away. Either that or the geolocation for you up is out of date / wrong

Does anyone know of an ISP that doesn't throttle torrent traffic?
Sick of Virgin tbh, giving me 1GB then maxing me out at 2mb, and I'm not upgrading to their 'unlimited' (but it is unlimited I believe, regardless of type) because I can't justify it.

virgin with us if somone torrented at all the entire network connection went down, torrent worked at normal speed

Turns out this connection I'm using is on TalkTalk's LLU, so their own network in a way, then they still throttle speeds and impose a 40GB cap, rather unlike O2/Be on LLU
simply set a schedule on your torrents
Unfortunately I don't have a microserver I've got a high power machine that sounds like a hoover and sucks a fair whack of electricity.
Chris, I'm worried about them handing my details over. Virgin don't seem to care what you download or how much you download (think my avg is 60GB pcm). Are o2 partial to grassing like BT are?

Nope. I downloaded all sorts of crap while on BE. Never even got an email about usage .
