Hi All!

When I rip music to my PC then transfer the tracks to my Shuffle the volume is restricted, is there anything that I can do to make the volume improved, I've tried transfering onto my K850i and the same thing happens, it's probably a stupid question but I'm sure there must be a resolve.

EDIT: use the LAME encoder... plenty of GUIs out there for it.

Nowt much up with iTunes.

Got issues with it because it doesn't support OGG Flac? Cant encode your MP3's from the command line?

I'm not using iTunes, it's when I transfer WMA files to my MP3 player, it's a Samsung Shuffle not an iPod.

The volume is fine on my PC but not good on my Shuffle or Sony Ericsson K850i, they WMA files play fine but there is a loss of volume, even turned up to max both media are very quiet, strange but true...............................

maybe its the way they decode wmas then. are there no issues with mp3s?
