am i the only daft one with a stilo abarth? and insurance expensive? i got a quote from privilege for £350 ish then again i dont suppose im that young any more

Found this site through google and noticed you were on about stilo owners club.
I have just ordered my new stilo 2.4 abarth with GP Kit and sky window. Got a good deal from Thames Vally Fiat. The bad news is its going to take 10 weeks from production then its got to go to prodrive for the gp kit!!
Anyway to my point - have you discovered or managed to get together a owners club yet?

John and I originated Club Stilo quite a while ago now, not long after the launch of the car actually.
There was a lot of interest and a lot of demand, we started a web-site, had window stickers made, looked at getting member benefits and sorted out some logoed merchandise, six monthly news-letter, meets, etc.
We met on several occosions and really pushed our joint venture, but the £12 first year and £6 following years member fee had people running for the hills, a year later and with approximately a dozen members my enthusiasm died and I quit, John continued but in vain, and when he sold his Stilo the club died to.
Talk is cheap, but actions speak louder than words and the support was never there.

Im loving this idea lads
Well performancestilo made a start in May we steadily grew with many members coming on board from here and abroad ..then we had the disastrous site crash about a month ago and I was pig sick when it happened I will admit it all that work we had all put in to give stilo owners some thing back that isn't available else where with regards to performance tuning in the UK ..but as Oldschool said pick your self up dust yourself down and start all over again ..and the show will go on he comes on here with technical advise to most of the boards and I will always come on here as it was the very first forum I joined and met some good friends because of it :slayer: never be a defeatist and if the need is burning in you to give others the knowledge you have then it makes it all worth while in the end whether you have 10 members or 10,000 it makes no difference the result is achieved
