Hey everyone!
A newbie to the fiat forum and can't wait to get to know everyone on here, especially fellow 500 drivers! I've set up a club for owners to come together and show off their cars, also arrange meets etc.
It's a brand new club so still in need of members!

And we're on Instagram to.
Just me running things at the moment so if anyone is interested in co-hosting please message me!

What do we think good idea?

hi , and welcome, :)

interesting plan,
I don't use "social Media",
and judging by the 500 threads on here, and local 500 ownership,
neither do the majority of 500 owners, ( wrong age groups ;))

I saw all the meets, they look great. Just thought it would be nice to have a 500 specific group, I searched for ages and couldn't find one. They all celebrated the old type 500 (still a fab little car).

There's a 500 meet coming up in the New Forest very soon, I think we had 17 500's for the Xmas meet/meal. Date not set yet but soon.

:yeahthat:

Farcebook isn't really for car meets lets face it.

What is it for? And I am serious!

Every time someone tries to explain it they say people put what they've had for tea, what illness the kids have, or that the cat's been sick. Why would I want to know that?

Anyway, where is the OP planning meetings, or did I miss that bit in the thread? (y)

The best way I can describe it, is that it is chatting about trivial s**t like you would down the pub (If you could afford to go). Its all throwaway rubbish that used to be said and forgotten but now can live forever in cyberspace. Its that whole load of nothing that is used to fill the awkward silences in a conversation.

In summery totally pointless.

Thanks - I wasn't far off in my understanding then!

As you know I'm happy to talk rowlocks in person or on the phone (I don't even need to go to the pub these days!), or on here come to that. I don't somehow feel I'm missing a huge opportunity by refusing to sign up to these things - one of the cats was sick today by the way (and probably will be tomorrow too!). :D

Whoops going :Offtopic: - we never usually do that.....

Thanks for the advice guys, it's easy to delete, so I will do that. Might be going to the north west Italian meet next month so could things started :)
