Hi,
I reluctantly have for sale my Uno.
I've had the car a few years, and bought it from the original lady owner. Prior to my ownership, the car had never been out of Manchester since it was new!!
The mileage is a genuine 38,000, the wheel arches, sills, floor, doors etc are remarkably rot free. The interior is clean and tidy, and the original radio , cassette player, hand books, spare key etc.. are all present.
I have a wad of receipts for the car, and replaced the clutch, tyres and the headlights as they were in need of replacement.
The only downside was the car failed the MOT last November, on the rusty front subframe. The two front flexable brake hoses, and the rear turrets were rusted at the top in a small area.
I purchased the rear turret panels, two new brake hoses, a new subframe is available. As there is one on eBay just at the moment.
I had to replace the stepper motor a few months ago, as the cars throttle was sticking. I adjusted the cable slightly, but I have a brand new throttle cable. That I will include, the car now idles well. But cuts out when cold, I believe the stepper motor is faulty.
Although I have a replacement, that I will include with the car.
The heater works intermittently, so did buy a new heater resistor to fix this that needs fitting.
Anyway, I've realized I'm not going to get this car fixed anytime soon. And really needs to go to someone, who can get it back on the road. As much as I like the car, I just lost the enthusiasm to do it.
It's a lovely car, and deserves to be used and enjoyed
