I have a brand new/never used steel coolant tube that is used in the Fire 1000 engine of of the classic Panda, although unused it does have surface scratches from a lot of handling.
I had bought this new a year ago but the flanged end could never fit into the water pump despite two mechanics attempting it as the new one is ever so slightly too wide (0.5mm approx). Please see attached photo showing the new pipe against the old pipe that was removed and you can just about see a slight difference in width. I ended up getting another pipe from elsewhere.
The pipe on offer here is made by Vema and has reference number 13332 on it. It is free for whoever wants it provided they pay for postage; I will get a postage cost once the buyer provides me a delivery postcode. Please note that it does not come with the rubber 'O' ring deal.
Maybe someone can make use of it by slightly grinding off the excess width or perhaps knows that some of the Fire 1000 engines had a slight difference in water pump to tube connection. It just didn't fit in mine a 1990 Panda 1000CL.
