Used 5 speed manual gearbox from a Mk2 Fiat Uno with an 1108cc engine, which had to be replaced with the one litre version quite a few years ago.
Please note: the transmission unit will have to be removed from the vehicle (currently parked on my drive in the Sheffield area).
The car was first registered in June 1992 and has done about 180,000 miles in total (currently classed as SORN).
I am a little confused as to which type of gearbox I have - I always thought it was the C514 type but may be wrong? See photos attached (can't see any reference on the casing but it was manufactured by Fiat).
All five gears operate smoothly, reverse is selected by positioning the gear lever to the right as far as it will go and then moving it in a different direction until it engages (rather than pressing the gear knob down at any point).
I should mention that the gearbox has an oil leak around the seal (common problem), and the clutch release bearing is very noisy so a new hydraulic clutch will be needed.
In terms of price, I'm looking for about £25 for the gearbox.
Cheers,
Andy
