As title,
Had a thicker/stiffer/stronger lower brace made, which is leagues better than the weak and flimsy effort pressed by fiat/GM. See pictures for comparison.
Can use the existing bolts, and is an excellent way to reduce the roll as you turn in. Very easy to install.
Will fit all grande puntos and corsas, however the 1.9 GP may have issues with clearance between the brace and the gearbox and also if your rear engine mount is sloppy you will have quite a bit of movement under load which may cause contact noise. This happens on the Forge Brace as well (same design).
This can be overcome by fitting the powerflex gearbox mount or by removing the little "nub" on the gearbox that sticks out (will be obvious when looking at the gearbox once the brace is in place.
Will post if necessary at cost, but collection preferred due to length (it's not that heavy).
