Xmas update
Need to clear this now, so £1000 will buy it
Fiat Seicento Sporting Michael Schumacher edition – unfinished project 51 plate 2001
Was planning to finish this a few years back, upping the power from 54hp to 80+, but I have moved house and now appear to have no time. So I’d rather it go to a good home. Been garaged and off the road for about 3-4 years, Very clean inside and out. Low mileage @51k
No rust
Basis of a great little car that should perform well ‘down the lanes’
Schumacher model has a limited edition plate to the passenger door, Chrome gear surround, Abarth style alloys 14” with 175/50/14 tyres, ABS and a close ratio gearbox
Only one scratch to the drivers side rear panel. Been touched in badly by previous owner and a worn bit of paint above the passenger side windscreen. Rear parcel shelf all in tact with no holes and the sunroof cover. Also has a Sony CD/radio fitted
It has a Punto 1.2 16v 80hp engine 188A fitted to the Schumacher close ratio gearbox with a new high torque 3 piece clutch
Blistein dampers and springs all round (lowered approx. 25mm) – rears need fitting
New front suspension arms/bushes, some polybushed
Gearbox and engine mounts polybushed
New tarox front grooved discs 257 x 20
Lots of spare parts in boxes.
Things that need finishing
Battery tray was trimmed so as to give more space in the engine bay. Needs a battery and re-locating to the boot
New front discs require callipers, I think they are punto GT or alike that fit
Inlet manifold and injectors ( I have some that will come with it) – may need different one or ABS re-located to fit.
Exhaust manifold
Requires a radiator
Current ECU should run the car but would benefit from a custom one such as Omex etc to optimise.
I have the V5 etc all in order with all the other documents.
will need trailering away, i'm in Colchester area, Essex
