Hello, it's been a long time since using the forum however glad to see it's still going strong.
Just here really to put out feelers on any interest in my 2005 Punto HGT 1.9 Multijet JTD. Colour - Dark Grey, mileage - 150k
The car has been well looked after and practically rebuilt over the last 15 years, please find a fairly long but also likely incomplete list of all the works that has been done to the car. A major 6 month rebuild was completed in 2018 and another recently in 2025 so this list includes work done during those events and anything else in-between. The car is now at 150k and still running exceptionally well. The list of work on this car goes on and on, if there is any interest in this car then I will go to the effort of a full winter clean for photos and will also including as many photos as I have of some of the big jobs that have been photo documented. I also have receipts for much of the work that has been done.
Engine;
Turbo - full rebuild including many replacement parts associated with that rebuild.
Intercooler - new including replacement silicon hose to turbo.
Thermostat - new resolving low engine water temp and lacklustre heating temps.
Fluid tank - new with various replacement pipes associated with that work inc engine water system clean/flush.
Sensors/valves - QH Exhaust change over valve, Bosch boost pressure sensor, Bosch turbo pressure converter, Bosch MAF sensor etc etc.
Exhaust - new downpipe from manifold to cat, genuine new Fiat backbox, fairly recent hangers front to back.
Battery - new Bosch S5 battery fitted, oversized resolving issues over the years with low voltage to systems such as hill holder etc.
Servo to ABS - new hydraulic lines fitted in copper nickel, original steel hardware used at servo and ABS end.
The list of smaller jobs throughout the engine bay goes on and on and I unfortunately can't remember everything that has been done.
Braking system;
Calipers - full rebuild on all calipers front and rear including premium paint service on the fronts and standard paint on the rears.
Discs & Pads - new Brembo coated discs front and rear, grooved rears with Brembo pads.
Brake lines - 90% of brake lines replaced with copper nickel / brass hardware front to rear inc new flexible brake lines front and rear, fluids etc.
Like above there are other things done associated with the braking system that I simply can't remember in full.
Suspension;
Springs - fairly recent Eibach Pro-Kit Performance Springs.
Shocks - fairly recent Bilstein B4 OE front and rear shock absorbers.
Control arms - new control arms (wishbones)
Bump stops - fairly recent front and rear bump stops including front dust cover kit, rears cut down slightly due to Eibach springs being 30mm lower.
Top Strut Mounts - fairly recent to replace disintegrating orginal mounts.
Bushers - antiroll bar Powerflex bushes on the inners and OE on the outers resolving any squeaking
Spacers - new Eibach 15mm spacers front and back with the correctly sized H&R wheel bolts.
Again like above there are other works I have done associated with the suspension system over the past years.
Exterior, interior, bodywork;
Paint - generally in good condition, nothing major to report.
Front subframe - replaced in 2018 for a brand new subframe, overpainted manufacture paint for additional protection and internally coated with DINITROL rust prevention coating.
Rear subframe - removed, restored and fully repainted, as good as new.
Rust care - much of the underside metal surfaces obsessively treated with Aquasteel rust convertor/primer as well as painted. The chassis, sills, wheel arches all treated with underbody seal and recoated this summer from front to rear.
Corrosion care - rear sills inside wheel rear arch and parts of the rear wheel arch suffered some corrosion which has been dealt with using various techniques including fibre glass/resin. Side sills filled with DINITROL rust prevention.
Steering column control unit - replaced due to fault, bonus of this being replaced is lovely feeling indicator/wiper stalks, trip button with stalk lettering all like new.
Steering wheel - new MOMO competition steering wheel inc boss kit with horn working as intended with NO airbag fault on dash. The main dealer may MOT fail this due to the requirement to plug in which doesn't detect and read the airbag serial number so MOT would need to be done away from main dealers.
Speaker system - new premium front and rear pioneer speakers, replaced due old ones disintegrating, standard HGT subwoofer in boot working as intended.
Interior trim - overall very good condition
Wiper arms - new wiper arms because they look better
