I have been messed about by an eBay bidder. I now need to get rid of this car as it is on a shared drive.
Needs to be gone by the weekend. If not sold it will be scrapped. £350 takes it.
I have decided to sell one of my Punto cabrios as I have bought another one. This is a 1998 elx 1.2 16v.
It was running well before it went into Covid storage. It is a cat C but has had new bonnet and wing.
I have put a new rear window in and the car was recently serviced (2 years ago, but hasn't been driven) and a new cambelt, cat and Lambda sensor fitted. It had a full mot two years ago and has not moved since. Everything was working before storage but it will need a run to reset the ECU and get everything working again. I have done some bodywork but needs finishing. (Minor dents on door)
This is an ideal project for the summer. Needs minor fettling. Usual things, roof bar needs relocating, (elastic supplied) one alloy is slightly porous (or tyre is not sealed) Roof is good apart from usual nick which has been repaired. Currently on SORN so will need trailer.
Priced for far less than it owes me as I need the space. (Bonnet bra not included)
I was willing to keep this car and do the odd bits to get it back on the road, but as I have tried to make room in my garage I have realised that this is not going to happen, I am now getting desperate for space as my new car arrives next week so an offer of £750 will secure it. It has to go, even though I regret parting with it. I would rather it went to a member of the Forum, but it will end up on eBay if there is no interest.
