Only one previous owner who was my 80+ year old auntie.
There is no way I would be selling, but sadly I have been diagnosed with terminal cancer so as there is nobody in my family I can give it to, I thought I may find someone here who would like to own a very nice example and love it as much as I do.
It has had many new parts fitted over the years and for the current mot it required a new rear spring had 3 inches missing at the bottom where it sits in the cup, other than that it sailed through as usual.
Mechanically the car is sound.
There is no rust on the immaculate bodywork.
Things that need attention that I was about to do before being paralysed.
Because I didn't use the car every day the battery kept going flat, which after reading this forum it seems the battery drain is caused by a stuck relay, as a temporary fix I fitted a
battery isolator switch which solved the problem, at the same time a new 90 quid Bosch battery was fitted.
There is a small rust hole under the offside cill which needs looking at before it gets worse.
At some point the rear axle beam will need renewal they are not expensive, this was an MOT advisory this time.
I have all records and bills from purchase onwards.
Yeah okay it's not really a blokes car I bought it for sentimental reasons, but would be an
ideal first car for your son/daughter or maybe your wife/girlfriend/granny as a runabout.
Although long journeys are no problem, it's just as nice to drive on the open road as it is
about town.
