For sale is my brothers 1994 Fiat Cinquecento SX
If you are looking at this add, you probably know how much fun these little cars are to drive (as well economical to run).
This is an early Cinquecento (some may refer to it as the MK1) with the retro and more informative dash (I should know as I own a later Cinquecento that had partaken in the Mongol Rally 5 years ago and defo prefer this dash).
This model is an SX so you get electric windows, sunroof and central locking! My brother bought this as his first car back in March 2018 and he has been matriculas about the maintenance in order to get this beauty back into tip top shape (he even has a spreadsheet with all the maintenance he’s had done in his ownership which he’d be happy to show). Which consists of replacement parts such as: water pump, exhaust manifold gasket, rear wheel hub, rear brake cylinder, alternator regulator, clutch cable.
In terms of recent maintenance, he gave the car a full service back in July (the car also has an K&N air filter so you never need to buy a new one again, simply clean out every service!). He also changed the fuel tank (as they do tend to get rusty on Cinquecentos) and new fuel pump as the car previously would have a hesitancy accelerating at times but these problems are now a thing of the past! The car has just had fresh mot (Valid until 16th Dec 2022!) to give the new owner piece of mind.
Of course, for a 27-year-old car the body work isn’t immaculate but it certainly isn’t bad, the front passenger wing (see photo) is the worst offender but that was already like that when he purchased the vehicle and I think adds a bit of character. The driver seat bolster is was ripped but my brother has patched that up (not in the exact same shade of blue) but has always had seat covers on the car to preserve it.
So if you want a nice honest example of these rare beasts come find yourself a bargain now!
