Up for sale is a 1978 partially completed fiat project car. estimated 75% completed. All the big stuff is done!
This was my grandfathers car that I took on to restore as a joint project. I ran out of time as I'm headed back to college and he doesn't have the energy to go it alone. Hoping to sell it the way it sites vs paying someone to finish it.
We have approx 10K invested so far.
Below is what has been done and what is left to be done.
Done: Rebuilt block, bored out 20 over, new cylinder head, painted valve covers, rebuilt transmission, New flywheel, new clutch and pressure plate, cleaned intake manifold, new distributor and that's all that's in the car right now.
Parts the come with the car: Master cylinder (full assembly), new brake lines, ignition coil, new armrests, new ignition/key, spark plug wires, new radiator hoses
Still needs: New carb, water pump, Radiator, cooling fans, smog pump, driveshaft, and pads/rotors. Calipers would work, but should probably be replaced anyway. Estimated cost: $3K
When finished, the car should be worth between $17-20K because the 5 speeds are rather rare. If fully restored(Showroom quality) it would be worth over $40K easily (which is what I was planning to do).
