Hi all,

Ive got a nakered N/s driveshaft so went to the scrappies today,but there were no sportings in.so i got 1 of a punto 55 thinking it would be the same,but ive just read there not. So can exchange the bearings and other bits over?? (i dont have much knowledge on driveshafts)

Seems not -- from what I can see the Punto and Sei/Cinq outers have different part numbers.

But there is a link to an on line ePer somewhere here, why not give it a go?

You don't say which bearing has gone.

Both bearings on the Sporting Sei and Cinq are the same (as are the driveshafts). Looks like the outer bearings on all Cinq and Seis are the same, but whole driveshafts and inner bearings are only common between the Sportings.

You can get a Universal joint kit at about £45 each end or about £85 exchange.

IMO second hand joints and shafts arent worth the hassle, especially the joints.

Ring around your local motor factors for a price, you may find it be cheaper for an 'exchange'
