Hi Chaps, i recently took my car (2000 X Sei) for a service and realised i'd lost the locking wheel nut tool, does anyone know either where i can get a new one or how i can get them off and replace them?

fiat should be able to replace the tool, but failing that, hammer a socket onto the locking bolt and remove it, then replace them with a new set, had to do that with mine because a b**tard garage used an impact wrench to put the bolts in and promptly killed the locking key[:(!]

if this is the same splined tool that comes with cinq, then its just a case of whacking(technical term;))a tight fitting socket on and removing this way.i had the nut tool but the splines are really weak so replaced them with a more standard set

The Fiat Cinquecento

you can get a locking wheel nut removal tool from sealey www.sealey.co.uk or find a local sealey suplier. model number sx200, its on special offet at the moment at £8.95 + VAT.
soon all the alloy wheel nickers will have these wich make locking nuts pointless.

Dave, the locking wheel nut removal tool won't work on a cinq, the listing states it will fit 21mm and 23mm sockets which the cinq's don't have, they use a 19mm bolt head, and if the locking bolts are fiat issue, then it's back to hammer and socket time:(

what i ment by a good thing was at least the crooks wont be able to nick fiat wheels with them:)

locking bolts arent all the same! fiat garages has a 'universal' removing tool which are generally ok! failing that hammer and a cheap socket and powerbar do the trick!
if uve got the box the key came in get the number of it and ring a fiat dealer and they can get a spare made up for you

Wen in the toon slow it down, out it the sticks give it the licks!
