falken vs toyo?

The time has come to replace all the tyres on my little yellow beast,
but I was wondering if anyone has used the toyo proxies?
they get a better review on mytyres than the ones I am using (falken ze512).
I didnt want to shell out for 4 if the toyos are rubbish!!!
any thoughs appriciated

Toyo Proxes are meant to be very good... I got some recently, and prefer them to the conti's i had on before.

Id definatlye recomend them....

theyres two types of toyo proxies! cant remember the two product names but theyres big differences between!

EDIT- just remembered T1R's are normal proxies and T1S's are a softer compound IIRC with better grip.

they both brill though!

got them on the arosa and theyre good for the money me and my mate think theyre alot better than the falkens he had on his mini and they are better in the wet than yokos

I've got 194/45 14 Proxes on my Cinq and they are excellent. Lots of grip and they are really good in the rain as well Go for it.

If you're going for 195/45/14 compare the price of the Uniroyal Rainsports: they're a truly great tyre and excellent vfm.

Haha, tbh I'm gonna try these when the Toyos are deaded but only caus I've never used them. Not because the Toyos are poo.

will the 195 45 go on 5,5 rims beacuse the toyo site says you need 6 inch?
i have the sei abarth rims which i think are 5.5?

On 5.5J 185 is really the widest you should go for.
