I get about 37mpg thrashing it round town and through the lanes and I've seen 48mpg on motorway if I behave myself, 41ish if not. Chip, panel filter, de cat, 32mm TB.
If only there was an operation available on the NHS to make my right foot lighter!:D

Brim filling my mk2 Abarth (P75 engine) was delivering low 50s mpg on 175/55R15 tyres if I kept to lorry speed going to/from work. I'm on 195/45R15 tyres now and it's mid to low 40s.

You were all lucky.

By the end of its time in my ownership my sei, im not joking, got 269 miles out of a full tank brimmed! I dont know how to work out MPG but i bet i was lucky to see 30+mpg! Something definately amiss there.

Even the mondeo does 100+ miles more to a tank

Eh? 269 from a sei with 33litre tank is 38mpg, way more than your 30mpg prediction. And if a Mondeo has a tank that small I would have concerns, it should have at least a 55L tank.

Is it really 38mpg? seemed well bad  I dont feel too bad for the new owners if it has any now

In hindsight i dont think i should have wrote about the mondeo as it is completely unrelated :bang: :D

55 litre fuel tank and and the rest.............

I get 45mpg taking it easy. I only do light town driving. My Cinq Sporting is 100% standard. I would like to take it on a run and see what I sould get it up to though.

My Punto 1.2 8v easily gets 55mpg drivng the same run.

Both run sweet...
