I put a towbar on my cinq to move my honda monkeybike around to shows and stuff. So it has a bracket for the cradle.

I bought this mad microcar (pic attached i think it's mental!!, i like bonsai machinery, that's why i drive a cinq..) off ebay for cheap in belgium and I have use of a flatbed trailer.

So... I decided to go for it and hitched up trailer, booked channel tunnel and off I went (my dad came too to navigate).

my cinqs got all the mods (gsr, mckrich, full janny decat and tricker) and has good torque.

car was excellent on fuel and obviously once it was loaded up i thought i'm in the shat now or not!!

well i tell you what it cruised at 70-80 all the way home. didn't get hot. was perfect. on the inclines i had to use forth but it always held speed. towed fine with no tail wagging dog.

so there you go. cinqs can tow. not ideal but will do the job.

pukka cars!!

Whats the idea with that little car? Can you teck it on the road?

Is it not just a Belgian golf cart with protection against Belgian golfers shouting "fore" in various languages and dialects???

The micos a ligier js4. made my ligier forumla1 as a one off micro design.

quite rare. 50cc engine. veryslow!

will get mot and could go on road. but i doubt i'll do it...

just a mad buggy!

LOL,

Great story. Actually Sei's can tow! I compete in the Dutch go-karting championships in the Rotax-Max Senior class, and I have a little trailer which I use to transport my kart to the various tracks.... Behind my Sei!. My Sei is still fully standard, but very well capable of towing the trailer. The trailer used to be an old Alpen Kreuzer (Anyone farmiliar with that?). We took the complete hood and tent off. gave it a flat floor with clamps where the kart can "Sit" in and it has a roof that has hinges for opening. The trailer with kart and all required stuff in it will probably be just under 400kg. The trailer is self braking, so just legal... :)

Erm, aren't you legally restricted to 55mph when towing a trailer in the UK? See some of those "Police, Camera, Action" vids to see cars towing trailers jack knife'ing all over the road when going too fast to see why...

50mph, or 60 if braked. I can't imagine the cinq has the permittable train weight to take another vehicle.
