i have a sporting cinq and I read somewhere that to corner better its best to have the front the tracking the same as a seicento sporting as it has a slightly wider track than the cinq. is this true? and if so how can it be done? thanks(y)

The front wheels on a sei sporting abarth are slightly further out from the rear due to the wheel spacers, and yes this makes the turn in slightly more responsive I believe.

Increasing the front track improves turn in. How to do it? Wheelspacers and longer wheel bolts. The limits are reached when the tyres start rubbing on the wheelarches.:yuck:

But don't confuse track (distance between front or rear wheels) and tracking (wheel alignment). And comparisons between Cinq and Sei Sporting are pretty irrelevant.

But why does increaing the front track improve turn in?

Bear in mind 'turn in' conditions are things that are extraordinarily hard to measure in practice as only very small time periods are involved...

Most cars front track is wider than the rear, even my 4WD integrale has a much bigger front track than rear, this was increased on ever model until mine the EVO had massive flared front arches to take the wider track. This was brought on by requirments on the rally stage.
