hi does anyone now if i could fit a FIAT PUNTO 1.2 SIX [6] SPEED GEAR BOX to my 1.1 seicento sporting i guess i would need all the linkage but is it possible would the gear box actually fit my engine, i have heard you can fit a 1.2 gear box to the seicento but I'm not sure seen as thought its six speed

please let me know

hi sorry to sound realy stupid but do you mean the gear box is hard to get or 6 gear or sum thing totaly different:confused: :( :bang:

Mk 1 Punto 6 speed boxes are hard to find in the UK but it doesn't take much effort to find them in mainland Europe... it's a case of how much do you want it? The only reason I didn't get one when I was in France last was boot space.

that's not an insurmountable problem
195/45R16 wheels or using the 'cento final drive delivers an interesting 'box

The Cento final drive will not fit. The steering lock is also reduced (due to increased box size) and butchering of the wheelarch liner is required.

There are those who've fitted a 6 speeder, then gone back to having a standard 5 speeder.
