Well its come to crunch time n im gonna have to say goodbye to my dearly beloved sei, gonna have to change it for a bigger car as i feel the huge amount of mileage isn't going to do me or the car any good in the long run. But it'll be up in the classifieds shortly after a good clean. Will be sad to see it go n hope it goes to a good home. So just thought id say cheerio n cheers for the help with any problems ive had as they all got sorted with a bit of help.(y)

Cheers

I am gettin that feeling as well

2 more weeks for me and then mine will be up in classifieds

looks like im moving away one of my mates from work is selling his saxo vtr for 1500 and i need a bigger car and its a good price for the mileage etc. So atm im gonna take that although ill probably end up coming back to centodom as its great fun to drive but i don't want to kill it will 1000's of mile id rather it go to a go home.

Cheers

Yeah, i thought they are ok on the m/way.... definatley as good as other small cars. I mean they're not as good as big cars (my parents octavia 2 is sooo good for long drives...), but i wouldnt have thought a saxo would have been much better?

test drove it this morn it was far better than my sei, felt sturdier and was easier to hold its own also was faster which is a bonus. Cant beat the sei for nippiness around town though. Like i said before when i no longer need to do so many miles down the m-way then ill seriously consider centodom again.

Sticking with FIAT's or moving completely away?

I too am flocking the fiat nest, i need something bigger, our lass is struggling to get a decent rhythm on the backseat now :D

On a serious note its just a natural time for me to move on. I am feeling old before my time and am looking at a 97 MK2 mondeo TD saloon with only 81k on the clock at the weekend and for not a lot of money.

Sadly stonenewt i cant justify nor afford to run two cars

Due to our location & jobs my partner and I find car sharing a pain, we can't even share a car due to our working hours being different which makes us a two car couple. But being honest, my initial intention for the Sei was to buy it, a new engine & make a profit on a very tidy, high spec Mk2 rather than see it go to the scrappers. She had other ideas, first time I came into the village via the 'awkward' junction I knew she was a keeper.

I too am leaving the world of the Cento owners in March (Bonus month). :(

Yeah my cinq is really nippy, easy to drive, and fun off the lights but it's too small, and can't cope with MWays very well.
On top of that, getting me, the missus and the lil one in it is a struggle as it is, and now we've got another on the way, it's just not practical.

That and the fact that i'm craving more power...

I'm looking at 2.5 V6 Vectras at the mo... :slayer:
