Hi guys

Purchased some abarth sporting alloys (off ebay) with 10mm spacer from fiat secured with two bolts either side at front also with studs and doubled ended bolts for front. Front looks fine wheels fitted fine.

Ok heres little problem. Was there any difference in the way that the abarth was spaced out on the back compared with the sporting model. The abarth wheels have fitted they just look further in at the back than at the front. Or was that a common thing on the abarths to get rid of the understear problem. Definately makes the steering more responsive.

Would be very gratefull for any help

Many thanks
Matt

Cheers mate

Do you have any guesses to why fiat didnt use the same spacers on the back and space em out a bit more so the look the same all round?

Thanks for the reply so quickly much apreciated fingers99:D

Many Thanks
Matt

You need more clearance on the inside of the front arches than the rear, put J6.5 alloys on and you'll see what I mean, also it gives the car better turn in to have a wider front track.

A good benefit is also that a wider track on the front compared to the rear, give turn in an steering a bit more responsiveness. That's one reason I went for 10mm on front with my stock wheels, when I could have gone lower. The difference was certainly noticeable and an improvement (y)
