now if i cut one of these and attach a switch to it, it would act as an immobiliser.

which one do i cut tho? is it the plug on the left or right?

theres a wire on the passenger side connector plug under the dash.
black and green i think that kills the fuel pump.
sure ive said before and it will be in the stickys.
if you want to do it at the pump just do a continuity test or get a mulitmeter on the connector

ive read the sticky on the colour of wires but i wasnt much help to me, as it said black and green and from the photo they aint black and green. i was going to trace the wires from the pic and put a switch in some where safe.

is the thing your on about the thing you have to press to get the car started if you have a crash?

the sticky doesnt mention any wires at the fuel pump.
the wire is in the connector block under the passenger side of the dash when the cross head screw is

these the ones your on about? ive read them but seen as ive got a pic of the fuel pump and there was no black and green wire i was i bit confussed!

i didnt go that far back and got it near the front under the dash.it doesnt mention the pump

found the wires that custard mentions, just a quick question though, do i cut the live or neutral one? would it matter?

any one got any ideas which is which, before i have to hunt for my multi meter.

Why do you want to immobilise a part of the car when it performs it already?

ive put a chip to race chip in the ecu which disabled the immobiliser, so want to make a new one

Incase it gets stolen or to satisfy the insurance?

just for my peace of mind really, a hidden switch with no petrol = no you cant take my car

Your insurance becomes invalid then as your quote is based on you using the Fiat immobiliser.

green/black wire. sits in the loom in passenger footwell. don't cut wires near the fuel pump. leave them as they are. not want risk of a spark round there.

im not going to cut them round there going to cut them under the dash, only going to cut the one though, just wondered if it mattered which one.

weather has been poor so havent been able to do it yet
