Hello everyone,

I have ordered a new reservoir with the two window fluid motors for my 94 cinq. My current one has totally corroded motors and is leaking excessively.

What are the necessary steps for replacement? Do I have to remove the Radiator or is the tank accessible via the wheelbay?

Any tips or trips are highly appreciated.

Remove the wheel and the wheel arch liner and it can then be romoved easily without disturbing the radiator.

If you have scrapyards in the Netherlands, you should be able to find a good one for less than 10 euros!

I got my reservoir for 35 euro...hmmm maybe I paid a little too much.

are you sure it is not leaking because the pipe has split? this is quite a commom problem and at first glance you can think it is the pump that is leaking

Both pumps are u/s and horribly corroded, the rubbers are also cracked so it needed replacement.

The 'new' reservoir was delivered last week but....without the pumps! So I was pretty p@#%&! off. After a phone call they promised to deliver the pumps/motors asap. But that was just before the weekend & the christmas days, so still no motors...
