Bought my lil red Seicento :, end Oct, been super reliable and big fun, up til last Friday, when she died on me at a roundabout. Just before O power steering went, then engine totally stopped.
Have had alternator checked, and adjusted, then has to get a new battery Sat morning, as wouldn't take a charge. Great prices (not) given for that little square cube - anything between £35 and £85.
This morning, starts fine, but still got intermittant warning light coming on .

Any ideas
?, anyone else had this? - don't have deep pockets, even less spare at this time of year.

You need to get a meter on it, although it sounds like you have a loose earth. Check all earth connections are sound.

check the small wire on the alternator is connected properly, if that falls off - or is damaged, it can throw the light on.
