Any ideas if my Tizano Red Sei has clear coat paint or not?

Gonna experiment with some nice Merguiars waxes shortly and they do ones tailored towards clear coats.

I believe that clearcoat is an american way of referring to a lacquer coat.

Might be wrong, but other then self hardening paints, thats the only one I can think of!

If its a solid Red it will be single coat/solid base etc etc, its its metallic it will be twin coat/clearcoat etc. Metallics require a seperate laquer coat to be sprayed over them to get the shine, where as a solid colour can just be buffed up. Bit of laymans terms, but I hope you get the idea!
