Not really having a good time with the sei at the moment.

Firstly ive had some cam cover problems then, as you can see with my other thread ive had a flood, now this time its the petrol tank leaking and its doing it quite often like a drip every 10secs. Which i can see using alot of fuel in the long run.

Ive seen a couple of threads mention a recall about petrol tanks, so i was wondering how i can find out if my car qualifies for a new tank?

trot on down to your local fiat dealer, vin number at the ready. Or you could try phoning FIAT UK.

where would one find his VIN?

On Seis -- boot floor on left hand side. On Cinqs above the RH headlamp.

got the VIN and checked it on VOSA website, and.......i dont qualify so anyone know wot kinda money im looking at to sort out the leak?

I had a new fuel tank about 3 years ago on my fiat seicento. It is a 98 reg.I managed to get all my money back by contacting Fiat UK. They sent me out a letter saying that certain seicentos were being recalled. How old is your seicento?

Its a 99 reg, well i went into the dealer and they checked on it and apparently it has already been checked a year ago, so now im tring to find out if it did have a new one or it the garage said it was fine. Then going to try and get fiat to get me a new tank.
