The rear right suspension on my cinq sporting is making an intermittant knocking noise. Also the inside edge of the rear tyre seems to be wearing away and the car sits slightly lower on that side. Has anyone got any ideas what might be causing this? I've replaced the rear wheelbearings as they were noisy anyway and checked the shock absorber and spring and they seem ok.

Also the gearbox is making an increasingly loud grinding noise in second and third gears is this a sign of impending gearbox failure?

Erm, my Sporting front left does the same, sorry dont have a clue on that one.

Does the gearbox do the grind in all gears, or when putting it into gear?

If its going in, It might be new clutch territory or clutch cable, Not that hard to do, just very very time consuming:D

I said this before and I'll say it again. You have probs with rear knocking, like me? Get yourself a nice set of 6x9's and a Green Day CD, like me[8D]

Thanks for the help.:) Will worn suspension bushes cause the uneven tyre wear and lean at the back?

The gearbox makes a constant noise when accelerating in second and third gears, but the gears all engage fine, any ideas?
