Tesco insurance wanna know the value of an Abarth body kit before they can quote me.

Edit: Its a Seicento body kit

Can someone give me an estimate.

Try telling them it's a factory fitted kit, that's what I did with my cinq abarth kit and they charged no extra for it.

I feel a 1242 turbo coming on...

Yeah it is factory fitted, well as far as i am aware it is.

It is an optional extra direct from the factory, there isn't a definate price for it, when i tried to insure mine with tesco they didn't bother about the kit, but they were shed loads more expensive than norwich union anyways (mines a factory fitted Abarth Kit)

heh, i'm with norwich union too, their legal team is very good sorting out my lil hiccup with a skoda octavia into the back of my cinq i think the techie word for it is a a Fioda Cinqavia

im with Tesco,they told me its just classed as a Sporting as long as all the mods are factory fitted,i think the abarth kit and alloys add about £770 to the cost of a standard Sporting

I would be with Norwhich Union but mention a 1242, lowered springs and K&N to em and they kinda panic and melt.
I shall pass the £770 figure onto Tesco and see if they can quote me cheaper than CIS, who i have no qualms with. Both the 'rents are insured with them so i think i get a bit of a discount cos of that.

just popped bonnet to have a nice surprise, he's fitted a k&n since i looked at car last week, not a new one tho [xx(] need to get a kit to clean it i think
