(y) brought a chip for my 1.1i turbo but as my engine isnt in the car yet id thought id try it on my 899seicento sx

plugged it into a cinq 1.1i spi ecu box and plugged it into the car, well it pulls better in 2nd/3rd but nothing really more after that dunno about fuel consumption as ive only just put it in this morning, only prob with it is when you let off throotle the car seems to judder a tiny bit but atleast itll sort the lost key problem for 899 owners now :) all you need is a key which fits the barrel and away you go

oh and you get the anoying key symbol stay on but take the bulb out and that sorts that hehe(y)

yeah along with punto 75 cam and tricker carb (y)

just been playing in my sei again seems to have settled in a bit more now seems even more nippy getting to 40 now :D 1st gear seems a tiny bit longer for some reason more pull

grrrr i have the problem of my key is coded and need the code deactivated though :( hence why the mckrich chip is in ;) cant be assed messing with ignition barrels and things.

ill just have to try it for now.... well when the enigines in (hopefully end of oct) sending my TB of to tricker tomorrow to have work done, just having probs now finding a punto 75 cam :(

might just buy a full punto 75 engine, get the pistons done to allow low comp and then run a 1242 turbo :\ but piston work is a tad expensive(n) so might put that off for a while

The way gazzaman is approaching it it won't last very long anyway.

Your are right a completely different cam design should be used for the turbo set-up.
 
yup its a ecu from the 1.1i sporting cinq works fine on a 899cc engine :) just judders a bit when you let of throttle.

i thought with turbos to see more power its best getting it to spool up lower down the rev range so it creates more boost? hence the 75 cam?

just missed a bloody brand spanker mf2 on ebay for £82 :( auto bidder thing didnt bid for me :(
