don't know whats happened here...

boost is turned DOWN coz of fuelling, i've been driving the car at a steady 80-90(on my private autobahn) on way home along dual carriage way not even on boost, .... tackle a hill and car restrains and doesn't want to accelerate, next thing i know is some well dodgy noises and blue smoke pouring out the exhaust (n) won't idle at the lights and just cuts out  i don't understand

won't even start now?

buggered internals again?

ooohhh doesnt sound good alex, checked that the 2nd injector is getting power?

at part load the 2nd injector does nothing.

But maybe there was something wrong before. Maybe a hole in your piston or the piston is stuck or something like that.

Good luck.

the thing is tho its a new build :( fresh pistons the lot :( so i'm confused
all i can think is that the mf2 was just playing its own game and its melted the pistons... i've only done about 3000 miles! :(

that or the headgasket has just popped

has lost a lot of oil, but its not dry.

car doesn't want to start tho :( and sounds a little tappety :( when it does.
Although having said that i just started it now and it idles but it well didn't want to....was rough as hell to start with, although idled OK ish no smoke n that but when i put throttle down was realllllly slow response.

only thing i can think is that either turbo has popped like alex says or the pistons have gone :(
it got really hot when i got home :(

well it be a strip down then to see what happened, its the only thing to do, the moral to all other people dont run your car when you know the fueling is not right, good luck it sucks when things like this happen

Id say the turbo has deff gone. Dont run it anymore as if metal has got into the oil system you will be pumping it round the engine causing all kinds of damage. Also the engine wont idle if the turbo has blown. When I say blown I dont mean just the oil seals(if it were this it would just smoke but still boost)I mean the bearings have collapsed and more than likely the impellor has chopped up its housing. Take the air intake off the turbo and feel the play in the shaft and see if the alluminium is damaged. I had the same thing with my R5 GTT-made horrible squeeling noise and had now power then bang! The turbo was beyond repair. Do you let the engine idle for a few minutes before shut down? If this is the engine from the car from Tunbridge Wells I saw the guy drive it from cold thrash the hell out of it then shut straight down with no spin down period- no wonder the bottom end was knocking His driving has probably killed the turbo also.

rich cinq... was that the yellow car? coz it was that car i bought. we re-built the engine :)

i always let it idle for around a minute before shutdown but i'd noticed i wasn't really getting any proper boost till around 4k rpm :( and today before the incident the car just fellt sluggish :(
The car is running an oil cooler now too which it didn't have before so i guess the only thing it could reasonably be is the turbo...

in which case where the hell do i source a new one from!

the tappety noise i'm hoping is just because the engine has lost some oil... i literally did about half a mile home after the thing died (n)

Yeah it was yellow with a dent in the door. As I said the guy didnt seem to have a clue how to treat a turbo thats why I waked away. Hope you havent done any damage to the engine as It wouldnt take much metal to kill the engine. 4k is a bit late for boost! If the turbo has gone it was prob on the way out for the whole time you have been driving it and the damage had already been done. Bet its the turbo!

custard maybe i could just pinch ur turbo :p lol

urm found some on ebay, theres a car thats done 100000 miles  dunno if that'd be worth touching! unless rebuilds are cheap
