Hey I am new to this forum and the whole car thing and really just need some straight foward advice.

Basically just brought my car and the drivers seat has just completely broken.
I wish I could give you more information but all i see is bars sticking out from places they should not be  . I am going to try taking the seat out for more of an idea tonight.

However on the passenger seat the bar on the bottom that is used to move the seat back and foward has been snapped :)mad:) so should I do a DIY jobby and remake one or what?

Any recomendations or suggestions will be muchly appreciated.

Regards,
Phil

Thanks for the quick response guys, much appreciated.

I removed the seat last nigt and began working on them (so far so good) but the material condition on them is a little worn but maily dirty.

Upon doing some investigation about weather to replace the whole seats (dont really want to do) replace the felt (dont really want to do) and that leaves me with cleaning (woo fun). So someone recommended i use 'Truck Film Remover' aka Truck Wash but I seem to be having trouble finding it. I know seat covers can be removed and washed but is this safe. Will they shrink or any thing?

Any recommendations?

Cheers Ears,
Phil.

Right seat has been removed and in the process of being repaired as you are aware and in aspects of cleaning WOW. It was too easy. I downloaded read-me's which all sounded complicated which was a deterrent but it was really simple. Few clips here and there and it was held in place by a wire structure which you could quickly and easily remove it from.

Hopefully (if I can find my digital camera) i'll take some pictures and post a dummies read-me.
