whats ment to be inside of the cat? baffels?

had a look at mine and there is nothing in it

previous thought my cat might be dead, but if its only a look alike cat then it defiantly is

is there any welding down the sides? some people cut them open and empty them and weld shut again

Cats have a honeycomb material in them but as mog said folks empty them also they remove the cat, and hammer a pole down the bore to clear it out abit.

there are seam welds down the side, push a torch down there and it went strait through, couldnt see any filter.

now i wonder why my car failed on emission
