had a few people ask for pics of the decat section, so here is the full system.

supersprint 4 branch, modified to take a removeable decat, custom centre section and a supersprint backbox.

looks sweet, can you still get those supersprint manifolds?

Any idea what power your cinq is producing now?

Have you got any flexi sections in there Arc? this looks different to my supersprint manifold

my super sprint has a spring joint before my cat (your decat) and there is a second spring joint after the cat on the CSC mid section. if you haven't got one you might have probs in the future as Stainless steel can be prone to cracking.

Im certain I have read other post on FF about supersprint manifolds cracking because of lack of flexi bits/overtightening of spring joints

it's an old pic, it's cleaned up better than that now - but ive not really sorted it out yet no

should be able to still get them, ask oldschool.

not sure on power, it's not setup properly or imo running right at all, so i don't want to even try and guess. i'll have more of an idea once the mpi system is working.

it looks different because the knuckle joint was cut off as there is no way in hell you can get the OEM cat back in place with the knuckle joint in there. supersprint claim the manifold mates with the OEM cat, but that is just not possible!

there is a flexy section just behind the decat pipe, you just can't see that bit in the pictures.

this is the first time i've had a proper look at the decat section on the car, and tbh i did expect to see another flexy in there. i might look into adding another.

I presume it's because your running the 1242 as I managed to fit the SS manifold to the OEM cat on my 1108. It took a bit of messing about and cutting but it was possible

if you look at this pic, this is where the end of the manifold ends up.. right in the middle of where the cat is meant to be

imo if something is said to fit the OEM system, then it will fit without any cutting - but as we all know that is not possible on a cinq as the cat is part of the downpipe.

arc is yours a Punto manifold as mine finishes much further forward than yours does! I still had room to fit the pipe and flange infront of the cat!

The manifold in arcs photos is the first version Supersprint manifold for a cinq (this one also happens to be the same as one for a punto 60, less the little extension pipe of course). The one you have may be the second one they came out with for a cinq / sei, IIRC that one is a bit shorter as it was made to fit with the CAT replacement pipe Supersprint do / did.

Is it like this?

Since we are all talkiing about manifold, here is my Supersprint early version manifold that I have had painted with 1000C paint, I will end up wrapping at some point before fitting it. :D

Note, both these manifolds will fit a Punto 55, 60 & 75 as the the stud spacing on the head for the exhuast manifold is the same, just need to sort out a centre section.

Dave, Im afraid youre wrong. It definately wont fit the 75 head if it fits the 55/60, the head studs are 10-15mm further apart on the 75 than on the 55/60

Is that not just on the inlet side of the head? I thought that exhaust was the same, the supersprint web sites states the manifold for a punto 60 will fit a punto 75, we know a punto 55 manifold fits a punto 60 as the heads are the same. Suggests everything is same to me on the exhaust side?

I recently for a head gasket set for a 1242 punto, it came with one exhaust manifold gaskets but two inlet manifold gaskets, one for the 60 and one for the 75.

Ooops damn good point. Yes youre right.

I remember in retrospect that I could fit the 55/60 exhaust to the 75 head, it was only the 75 inlet studs that didnt line up with the 55/60 one.

Sorry again! My bad!!:D
