Hi memebers,

My seicento has a problem... The engine doesn't start.
If I turn the key to ignition position, the signs on the dashboard will flickering, and two relays next to the electronics will clacking.

If I turn the key forward to Start position, everything will be silent.


Could anyone tell me what the problem is?

The Accumulator is OK.

does the starter motor turn?

No it doesn't

check all connections on the starter motor, check all earth straps, check the motor hasnt burnt out its going to be something with that!

check the wiring near the ECU and the ECU relays, it sounds like it's just water got in somewhere and making a dodgy connection.

Battery could be flat? Try simple things before expensive https://www.fiatforum.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif Mine has done it before when my battery was on its way out, not enough power to turn starter motor, relays clicked then.

The problem is solved.
The connection of the ground cable was corroded.
