Hazard warning lights on my 899 1996 N Cinq still won't work, and even the mechanic can't bloody fix it!

I've swapped the flasher and the switch and still nothing,

i've just realised that the power cables running to the stereo no longer work, could it be possible theres a connector back there somewhere thats just come unplugged?

does anyone have a haynes manual could possibly tell me where it connects? any help would be really appreciated, as the 14 day time limit until the free retest is nearly up and i don't wanna pay that again!

thanks all

does your clock work and interior light

Seicento Sporting,
Modified Front Bumper,
GT Wing Roof Spoiler - NOW STOLEN,
Abarth Side Skirts,
4" Powerflow Exhaust System,
Abarth 14" Alloys.

IN THE PIPELINE:
Bad Boy Bonnet,
New Spoiler,
De-locked Boot & Doors,
Afterburner Lights
-40mm Drop

Fuse 1 supplies both radio and hazards.

Check that the:
violet wire to the switch has permanent +12v on it.
Black wire to the switch is earthed.

If not, you could run a temporary earth or FUSED live to the switch to get you through the test.

As Gaz says, F1 also feeds the clock, so if that doesn't work too you have a fault somewhere near the fuses in the box.

Problem fixed, thanks for the help guys, much appreciated :)

It turns out the violet cable wasn't giving any power at all, so i think it might have burnt out somewhere down the line, so i've hooked a fused feed up from the battery just to get it through the test then i'll strip it down and find out where its burnt out.

thanks a lot for the help again,

cheers
