hi!

i have just ordered a K&N induction kit of the internet. what sort of advantages am i gonna get from having it fitted and will it affect my insurance?

milesbetterthankyou cos my name is miles (i am not really better than you so dont take offence!!!) though my cinq is a beast

An induction noise and thats about it. They get too hot sat on top of the engine with all the hot air around them. You will need lots of ducting to get some cold air on it.

induction noise, Probably a 2% power increase. but THAT NOISE its very nice.
it should not affect your insurance.
dont think any1 tells there insurance bout the filter anyway.

whos is the little red fiat?

2%! I would say with a K&N the power probably drops. The air that is sucked in isnt even cold. The best way to get a decent induction noise and a genuine power gain is with a GSR. Even a replacement panel filter will increse power more than a K&N induction kit.
