I have looked for any previous threads on this. I know its a popular problem as it has occurred on all of the Fiats i have owned ( Mk1 Punto, Bravo and Mk2 Punto) And before you say it im not a fat b****** straining the belt tensioner.
Is there an easy solution to this. I dont want to spend any money. Its a 99 Sei Sporting

all you can do is check there not catching on the trim.you dont want ot be messing with the seat belt mechanism.
i would just get a spare form the scrappies personally

no kinks or twisted or anything? Maybe giving it a good tug will free if there is a bit of a problem

Not guaranteed to work, but this sometimes helps.

Pull the belt out as far as it will go and then let it slowly feed back in. Do this a couple of times, it's improved belts in my cars before.
