Anyone know if its a big job to replace? I know it is in a right bugger of a position so I might just take it out a gaffer tape the bugger up. Anyone know the best way of getting to it?

As Custard says, the job itself is quite easy - but removing the inner arch is quite fiddly!

Jack the front up, unbolt the inner arch & drop over the wheel. One of the hoses has probably split and come off the motor (there are two motors/hoses on the bottom of the bottle.) Trim the split hose back about an inch from the split and slide back on. Maybe use a cable-tie to hold the hose on tightly?

Did this to Amanda's car last week, but a bit of a pro at it now after doing it to both my previouse Cinq's!!

This time of year, it's one of those jobs that's essential!!

Regards,

Bruce.

Cheers lads, me and my dad are gooing to have a go this weekend. Im getting sick of driving whilst not being able to see anything! I keep having to stop at garages to use the free water and paper towels to clean it!

When i got my cinq, the washer bottle was leaking, took the arch liner out, thats a git in its self, the bottle was cracked, we just run some silicone over it, then put the gaffa tape over it for extra protection, then whacked the archliner back in, and bobs ya grandad :)

Why not get a trigger spray bottlem fill with screen wash and water and hang off the ashtray. When you are at the lights, window down, skwirty skwirty, clean screen.

I keep one in the car for the really cold mornings when the system freezes up

Cheers
