just woundering wot sort of 1/4 mile times people get out of there sei or cinqs. Cost my boss has a 205 MI16 that did it in 14.2 and 0-60 in 5.5secs. Has anyone gone faster?

your comparing a car that has 150-160bhp as standard without any mods ands not much more weight than a cento
Almost no Fiats are designed for flat-out speed. The Fiat experience is the whole drive, especially cornering, which the light, sure footed cinqs do with confidence! It's wrong to simply look at 0-60 times and say 'well thats faster'.

In all fairness theres nothing standard about a 205 with an Mi 16 engine this is a conversion, I guess it should be compared to a cento with a turbo lump ?
turbo cento on high boost is still 40+bhp short of an mi16 lump in standard guise.
turbo cento wont touch a 5.5 0-60 except possibly the UT convertrd ones.

The novitec sei only managed high sevens 0-60 and that was 190bhp but that did run abysmally most of the time
not really about power at that level.you only have so much grip on take off and if your spinning on a 0-60 run then its screwed.

The quickest I ran my standard cinq was 19.1.. recon I could have just got it into the v. high 18s with a few more runs though.

The guy who did the Cosworth turbo Cinq pulled a 14 with a fluffed gearchange, reconned it should have been a 12.5........

Well on mine i timed the 0-60 as about 7.6secs..
Also my old 1242 did a 17.7secs ish 1/4 with fastest on the day being Rob Whitney witha 16.01 iirc...
