Well took a day off work cos weather was predicted fine and it was.

Started with Apex kit. Fronts first. Smooth as silk. Then rears.nice and easy. Then went to wheel alligners for 4 wheel set up (although only track is adjustable). Was way out and now my wheel is dead straight. Had wheels balanced as well. Quite a stiff 50 (38 plus 12 for 2 x balance). Very impressed with kit. Car sits 'just' right on road. Handles sharp. Ride a bt crashy but you cant have your cake and eat it. In all well worth the 190 quid I paid for kit.

Then went to work on Janny back box. Had to fart about with a reducer sleeve which was a right mission. The crap pattern system on it already rattled on heat shield. It seems to be the cat too high. Took off system from downpipe but couldn't bend pipe to clear the shield. All in all the Jannys on. A bit boomy at 4k but that clears and is totally quiet at 80plus. Seems to rev and pull much harder as revs climb. Its an 1108 and I'm well pleased (save rattles!).

Next a GSR Kit and maybe a C&B 268 if I can get one a bit cheap.

how low does the apex kit drop the car? 30mm? might have to invest when I've got everything MOT legal.

[EDIT] Got bored and had a look so I answered my own questions!

I'd say 30mm is about right. Sits perfect and handles like a gocart on 165's!!!
